Bye Bye ORKUT... Rest in Peace...

Its really sad to hear that Orkut is going to shut down today (30-sep-2014)

Orkut was a social network owned by Google ,founded in 24 January 2004.It was founded by Orkut Buyukkokten. For his respect,it is named as Orkut.

Orkut was very famous at a time.A lot of people communicated using Orkut. They shared their feelings, emotions and all through Orkut. We make a lot of friends through Orkut. We met our old friends through this.we shared videos and pictures through this.

By the incoming of Facebook and other such social media makes the rating of Orkut down.At a time Orkut was the most visited site in India and Brazil.Everyone is having an Orkut account.

In later days, the users in the Orkut has become low and everyone migrated to Facebook. The new users to the Orkut become low.The number of persons available online become very low.

By realising this, Google announces the closing of orkut on 30-June-2014. By that day,the creation of new accounts is not possible. The existing users can download their profile archive by Google takeout. The company is going to shut down the services on 30-Sep-2014.

In Orkut we create  a lot of communities about  so many social issues. The responses and reactions from the users made a lot of impact in social issues. Through these communities, we met a lot of people who having the same emotions and attitudes.

As the Facebook is having a lot of additional features, all of us moved to it. The updation of features in Orkut become low,and the additional features such as video calling, messenger, share options all these factors lead us to choose Facebook over Orkut.

Anyway... The Orkut teach most of us to how to share emotions through net. Today, we are going to miss Orkut. Thanks for your services Orkut. Rest In Peace...
